The Oyster Cuff is cast from a solid 2 year old New Jersey Oyster in recycled sterling silver. The oyster clasp is three dimensional and has a great weight to it, it hinges from one end and hooks to the bracelet band on the other. The bracelet band is hand forged in solid sterling silver, the clasp catch is hardened and secure. The length of the shell charm is about 1.75″ including jump rings and looks best in an oxidized finish.

The Oyster is a very important addition to ocean and bay ecosystems, they act as tiny filters of pollutants and bacteria which helps keep our waters clean and healthy. There has been a dramatic resurgence in New Jersey oyster farming in recent years which has immensely helped the health of the Delaware Bay and East Coast beaches.

This Bracelet will ship automatically in a medium size – 6″ wrist, but can made to order in a different size if needed – please use the chart on the product page to determine your size and email Hali@hkmjewelry.com once you place your order with your name, your order #, and the proper size needed. Please allow 2-3 weeks for custom sizing.

Sizing:
Each bracelet is made to your specific size, follow the guide to choose your best fit. I design my cuffs to fit comfortably snug – so they do not spin around on their own – the ends can be worn on the top of the wrist or beneath without it shifting position. If you like a looser fit, choose the next size or two up from your measurement. Please ask any questions you may have on sizing your cuff, I’d be happy to help!

1. Using a flexible measuring tape, measure the circumference of your wrist just above the wrist bone (toward the elbow).

2. Make a note of the number at the point where the measuring tape meets the 0.

3. Compare your measurement to the chart below, and choose the corresponding bracelet size. If your cuff appears to be between two sizes, I suggest you choose the larger size. Most sizes are always available, you can place an order for a size that is out of stock by requesting a customization, please allow 1 week to complete.

Packaging:
All HKM Jewelry will be neatly packaged in a sea-foam colored HKM branded box with blue raffia ribbon and tissue. I also use 100% recycled/recyclable shipping materials.

Care:
All jewelry needs special care, even the “indestructible” kinds! My jewelry is meant to last for generations when proper steps are taken, but natural aging and wear can occur. Jewelry should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off each day, avoiding contact with makeup, lotions and sprays will prolong its finish. Keeping your silver in plastic is the best way to prevent tarnish when not being worn. Do not swim in chlorine or saltwater wearing your HKM Jewelry and it is not recommended to clean or wash dishes with chemicals that can breakdown the metal or stones. All Jewelry can be cleaned with warm water and mild soap and a toothbrush, a polishing cloth will restore shine and help with tarnish on your silver.

Shipping Policy

Free shipping is available for all my products, this option will only be for USPS First Class mail - typically arriving to most US locations in 2-4 days. You may choose local pick up at checkout if you prefer to meet me in person to pick up your product in my West Chester studio location. I will contact you via the email that you provide at check out, to arrange a time to pick up your order.

Refund Policy

I do not allow refunds at this time. I would be happy to exchange your product for a different size or item of equal value. Please email me within 10 days of receipt of the item for an exchange.

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, or if an item arrives to you damaged, you must contact me within 10 days of receipt. If a condition of the refund is to ship the item back, please use the same packing supplies and branded HKM gift box that it arrived in. For items that were damaged during shipping, you must provide photographs of the packaging as well as the item that is damaged.
