Artist Statement: When I paint, my mind and body become completely focused on the conversation between the watercolor paint, weather, landscape, and light. Plein air painting forces me to embrace uncontrollable conditions, just as my first washes of saturated color force me to accept the unparalleled effects of watercolor pigment. As a painting progresses, I strive to impose just enough order for the viewer to appreciate the scene. My subjects are chosen to allow me to play with the interaction of colors, nuances of landforms, and patterns formed by sun rays alighting on our environment. Whether completed outdoors or in the studio, the inspiration comes from observing nature. I constantly challenge myself to create simple, expressive landscapes that capture a moment and strike an emotional chord with my audience.

Shipping Policy
Shipping is available when paid for by the patron. Curbside pick up and delivery are also available in select areas.
Refund Policy
Customers should be happy with their purchase and have five days to return paintings which must be in the same condition as when recieved. Notecards are nonrefundable.
