I have been creating bead woven jewelry for more than 30 years. My designs typically begin with an element —color, stitch, style, or a concept. Traditional bead weaving techniques and stitches are often used in combination with free-form weaving techniques. With the exception of scarves, most projects are not typically planned out ahead of time, but designed “on the fly” – but patterns are established in that process to create rhythm and balance.
